The Avocet Course at Wild Wing receives some of our highest praise – you and your Myrtle Beach golf trip buddies will absolutely enjoy playing this co-collaboration between 1983 U.S. Open winner Larry Nelson and Jeff Brauer. From dual fairways to the 308-yard 14th hole, one of the shortest par 4s in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Avocet is a course to add to the Myrlte Beach golf bucket list when planning your next trip.
In addition to the great golf courses, Wild Wing Plantation offers a warm and inviting pub to enjoy a great meal and beverage before or after you hit the links. If you need to warm up before your round, or just want to hit a few balls, Wild Wing Plantation also has a great practice facility located on property. While in the area if your looking to play more, check out the Avocets sister course the Hummingbird which has nine holes located on site as well. The Hummingbird course isn’t a chip and putt. It’s a par 34 (one par 5, three par 3s) that stretches 3,000 yards, requiring you to hit a variety of shots.
