Of the nine players featured by CBS Sports Network in its special chronicling the 2021 Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship, six have already competed in a U.S. Open, LPGA Tour or PGA TOUR event. Three have already earned their PGA TOUR or LPGA Tour card. And three additional players not featured in the special have each played multiple events on either the PGA TOUR or LIV Golf.

As spring settles in along the Grand Strand, we can’t help but marvel at the energy surrounding “The Golf Capital of the World” right now. We’ve seen plenty of pics and videos of captivating courses, memorable rounds with friends, and, of course, plenty of St. Patrick’s Day green—on and off the fairways! This past week the Play Golf Myrtle Beach team hit up two of the Grand Strand’s premier designs. David Williams stopped by The Dye Course at Barefoot Resort & Golf to capture some morning moments with his camera lens, while Jim Maggio checked out the latest with the reworked front nine at King’s North at Myrtle Beach National.  What they found were just two of the many examples of the type of scenic welcome mat that’s here to greet you right now when you arrive in “The Golf Capital of the World!”

The Auburn University men’s golf squad made an emphatic statement Tuesday in winning the 2025 General James Hackler Championship Presented by Carolina Wealth Advisors at The Dunes Golf & Beach Club, lapping a strong field that included six of the top 50 teams in the NCAA Division I men’s collegiate rankings.
