Photo Gallery: 2025 Barstool Classic Kicks Off at True Blue
The kickoff to the 2025 Barstool Classic at True Blue Golf Club Tuesday set a spectacular tone for a tournament series that has evolved into one of amateur golf’s premier competitions.
Now in its seventh year, the Barstool Classic has chosen for the fourth consecutive year to kick off its wildly popular event series in Myrtle Beach. This is True Blue’s second year as Grand Strand host, having previously hosted in 2023 and joining Grande Dunes Resort Club (2022) and Caledonia (2024).
And there was no better stage than a Mike Strantz-designed masterpiece to set the tone for this nationwide, 23-market competition that includes such markets as West Palm Beach, Chicago, St. Louis, Scottsdale, Las Vegas, Cape Cod and more.
A full field of two-person teams competes at 50-percent handicap in a four-ball, stroke play format. The top four team net scores from each qualifier will advance to the season-ending Barstool Classic Championship Nov. 17-19 in Scottsdale.
