Paige Visits the Moorland Course at Legends Golf Resort
Recently, Myrtle Beach golf ambassador Paige Spiranac paid a visit to the P.B. Dye design at Legends Golf Resort – the Moorland Course, one of many popular course options for spring play.
We went to Legends and we played Moorland. I was standing on the tee (at Hole No. 2) and I kept asking everyone, “Where does the hole go? Where does the hole go?” Because you can’t really see but I had the option to go to the lower fairway or the higher fairway so I went to the lower side. But it was really cool how you have that option, and it’s something a little bit different.
And then from the green there are bunkers kind of up the left side and the water around the back of it and it was just really pretty. Such a cool par five. It’s something that you don’t see that often with a double fairway, and then with kind of a blind tee shot from the tee. It was pretty cool.
And then on Number 3 you cross the little bridge to get to your tee box, and it’s so intimidating because you’re standing there and you just see water, and then on the right side just a little bit of a fairway and then the green.
