UPDATE – With the Cherry Grove Pier drawing closer to an expected early July 2023 reopening, two of its related attractions – Driftwood Restaurant and Pier Tackle Shop – have resumed daily operations.
Driftwood reopened in April from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, offering casual fare with both indoor and outdoor seaside seating for enjoying a quick bite or cocktail with family and friends. The Pier Tackle Shop also returning to daily operations from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with plentiful fishing gear and popular apparel among the retail items available.
One of North Myrtle Beach’s enduring landmarks, the Cherry Grove Pier is bouncing back after sustaining damage in fall 2022 from Hurricane Ian.
