A Sports Illustrated/Golf Channel personality, “Charlie’s Challenge” at a popular Myrtle Beach golf resort, and strong opinions from one of golf’s outspoken commentators are among the highlight segments on tap in tonight’s Episode 4 premiere of The Charlie Rymer Golf Show at 8:30 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network.
Former Sports Illustrated feature writer and current Golf Channel personality Damon Hack joins Charlie in his “Ridin’ with Rymer” segment from Willbrook Plantation Golf Club, in a wide-ranging discussion that includes the cover stories he’s written about some of the sports world’s iconic figures and his life at home with triplets. Golf media personality Geoff Shackelford and Charlie have a spirited discussion on the distance debate in Charlie’s podcast segment, and “Charlie’s Challenge” at Legends Golf Resort invites golfers to compete against “The Big Timer” in a closest-to-the-pin contest. We’re also paying another visit to Charlie’s gourmet kitchen, where he’ll show us how he prepares his popular brand of fajitas.
And let’s not forget “Charlie’s Golf Tips” from Rivers Edge Golf Club, where Charlie demonstrates how to use certain focal points on the course to help reduce the intimidation factor involved in hitting a tough tee shot. He’s even going the unconventional route to offer additional advice, in this case showing off his creativity:
