Blackmoor Guests Now Enjoy Newly Paved Cart Paths

Gary Player’s lone Grand Strand signature design has continued its commitment to enhancing its customer experience with another significant capital investment, as Blackmoor Golf Club in Murrells Inlet, S.C. is now putting the finishing touches on newly paved cart paths.

It’s the final phase of a 30-month initiative taken throughout the golf course. The smooth ride is also the perfect complement to Blackmoor’s new-level turf conditioning, thanks to its recently completed $1.4 million drainage project that has guests routinely riding fairways within 12 to 24 hours of a heavy rainfall and significantly reducing exposure to “cart path only” restrictions.

Google reviewer Robert McLaughlin saw the benefits of these efforts first-hand, saying in a recent review, “What an enjoyable round! The staff was welcoming from the starters to the grill personnel. Carts include GPS and the carts paths were just repaved, no bumps or potholes! The fairways were open with lots of doglegs and the greens were exceptional …”

Added another Google reviewer, Jason Edinger, “Great spot with amazing views. The course was impeccable.”
