This past week the Play Golf Myrtle Beach team had each end of the Grand Strand covered. David Williams made the southern swing and stopped by Wachesaw Plantation East to capture some morning moments with his camera lens, while Jim Maggio headed north and took to the skies to get some aerial images at Rivers Edge.  What they found were just two of the many examples of the type of scenic welcome mat that’s here to greet you right now when you arrive in “The Golf Capital of the World!”

After an extensive renovation project to its layout and clubhouse, Colonial Charters has been restored to the quality conditions for which it was renowned during the 1990s upon its initial opening. Colonial Charters boasts several memorable holes defined by mature hardwoods and strategically placed water hazards, and the 6,427-yard layout features two iconic greenside waterfalls and tree-lined fairways that reward golfers who are accurate off the tee.

This week the Play Golf Myrtle Beach team hit each end of the 60-mile stretch of the Grand Strand, as Jim Maggio visited Pawleys Plantation Monday and took to the skies Wednesday to check out the Maples Course at Sea Trail Resort. With beautiful weather greeting him, Jim found superb playing conditions welcoming visitors to “The Golf Capital of the World!”

The kickoff to the 2025 Barstool Classic at True Blue Golf Club Tuesday set a spectacular tone for a tournament series that has evolved into one of amateur golf’s premier competitions.

Multi-platinum hitmaker Tyler Hubbard and the Chairmen of the Board will offer free concerts to ticket holders at the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic set from May 8-11 at The Dunes Golf & Beach Club. The concerts are scheduled at 6 p.m. Thursday and Saturday nights at the Fan Zone adjacent to the 17^th green. Tickets can be purchased by visiting myrtlebeachclassic.com.
