The 27^th Annual Family Golf Week wrapped up Saturday with final-round action teeing it up at Barefoot-Dye and seven additional award-winning designs throughout the Myrtle Beach area, and flight winners and National Champions crowned at the awards presentations at Barefoot Resort & Golf.

Faithful event participant Terry Prahl and beloved Grand Strand golf executive Steve Taylor were honored Thursday as Co-Fathers of the Year, along with Cindy Harper as Parent of the Year, at a fun-filled Family Golf Night at Barefoot Resort for the  27^th Annual Family Golf Week in Myrtle Beach.

More than 800 players have descended upon the Grand Strand this week to take part in the 27^th Annual Family Golf Week, with first-round action teeing it up Thursday at Rivers Edge and seven additional award-winning designs throughout the Myrtle Beach area.

For years, most courses in the Myrtle Beach golf market have relied on a “double tee” system to offer its golfers both better control of pace of play, and a wider selection of desirable tee times.
